Reviews
After hosting an 80th birthday at Rinconcito Paisa today with 25 guests, I can honestly say that everything was fantastic. Giovanni, the manager, went above and beyond to make everyone happy, ensuring that everything was perfect. The food was delicious and fresh, leaving us all very satisfied.
I purchased picada, looking forward to eating my chicharon, but all I got was chewy, rubber chunks of fat, all of the Chicharon was trashed. And paid $60. With tip. Very disappointed ! Pura grasa...Eso fue casi todo pura grasa π€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈπ€·π»ββοΈππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈπ₯΄π₯΄π₯΄π₯΄π₯΄, And the serving portion was less than in the pass. Steak was delish. if you order to go check your order before leaving. The to go salad is not worthy of $8.00! This isn't the first disappointment... when you sit to eat, they charge you different price from their menu. If prices have changed, pen it on your menu, or let the customer know when taking their orders.
Used to live in the area and went all the time. Was in the area and we wanted some actual Colombian food. First, prices have skyrocketed since we ate there last about two years ago. Food is still excellent, but service is beyond poor. Had two waiters who couldn't keep up with the few tables there.
My wife was speaking Spanish to our waiter, and you could see the sweat dripping down his forehead as he was speaking Spanish. We switched to English, and it was better but still spoke way too low to hear anything he was saying. Second, he spoke so low you could barely hear him. We asked for limes four times and the waiter kept saying yes, I'll get it. Finally, the fourth time, we asked for limes he told us limes were in the kitchen and we like yup that's where food is. Finally went and got us the limes.
We needed a spoon and some napkins and asked the other waiter. As we are talking to him, our waiter comes over and the other waiter just walked away from us as we were talking.
Food is still good, but honestly the poor service would make us not to want necessarily to go back again.
We ordered the soup of the day, a side of chicharron, the empanadas appetizer, the fried chicken platter, and three juices. With tip and tax, it came to $85 for the four of us; two adults and two kids. Seems on the high side.
Colombian food here is amazing. I always look forward to dining here. Great and friendly service. Really good drinks nice ambiance. Parking gets tricky but manageable. Did I mention the great food?
Amazing place to enjoy delicious Colombian food, nice music selection, clean place, super delicious food, professional service and good price. Recommended for all the family.
We loved their Fried Red Snapper, Ceviche & Fried Pork Belly so much!! Great hospitality to even To-go customer like myself is outstanding!! I'll be back over & over again!!
This place is amazing. The food is delicious. The servers are very friendly and want to make you feel at home. I had a glass of their house, Pinot Noir, or it could have been Merlot lol, and it wasn't bad. And at $8 a glass, ya can't beat that!
Authentic SautΓ©ed Coconut Snapper was amazing! Updated decor and ambiance improved the overall vibe and the menu upgrade was tasteful. I can tell that ownership is taking the restaurant to the next level and service was prompt and professional. Highly recommended.
